Regulations for EVisa

If you meet the conditions for applying for an EVisa Vietnam, consider the following regulations:

Passport

Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam and must have at least 2 blank pages for visa stamps.

Passport Photo

Prepare 01 passport photo according to the specified requirements. Refer to relevant regulations for the size and requirements for Vietnam visa photos.

Soft Copy of Passport Photo and Personal Information Page

You need a soft copy of your passport photo and the personal information page to upload during the online application for an electronic visa.

Bank Card

To pay the e-visa application fee online, you need to use a valid bank card. Note that American Express cards are not accepted, so be sure to use another card for payment.

EVisa Application Process

Note: Currently, the application for an EVisa to Vietnam is no longer processed on the Vietnam Immigration Department’s E-Visa Portal. Instead, it is done entirely on the national public service portal. Here are the steps:

– Access the corresponding EVisa registration link.

– Choose the “Submit Application” option to proceed.

– Upload the portrait photo and passport photo of the foreign applicant (and enter confirmation email if the applicant is submitting the application online).

– Fill in all required information, including personal details, proposed visa details, passport information, contact details, occupation details, and details about the trip.

– Agree to the terms and conditions, then proceed and confirm.

– Verify the accuracy of the information and receive the verification code. Save the code in an easily accessible place as you will need it later.

– Pay the EVisa service fee (25 USD / 50 USD) through the online platform.

– After a few days, check the processing status of the electronic visa application using one of the provided links.

– Receive the download link and then print the e-visa after your visa application is approved.

– Present the electronic visa or verification code at the immigration checkpoint upon entry to Vietnam.

EVisa Application Fee

The EVisa application fee has two categories:

  1. Single-entry visa fee: 25 US dollars/visa.
  2. Multiple-entry visa fee: 50 US dollars/visa.

Important: This fee is non-refundable, so double-check the information you provide in the application form.

Note the following:

– The EVisa fee is non-refundable, so carefully review the information you provide in the application form.

– The entry point stated on the visa cannot be changed. You cannot alter this information after submitting the e-visa application or after receiving the visa. If you want to change the entry point, you need to apply for a new visa.

– The visa processing time is typically around 3 working days, but this may vary depending on the number of applications or public holidays. Therefore, it is advisable to submit your application at least 2 weeks before your planned visit to Vietnam.

– Please note that you cannot apply for an EVisa as a group. Each application only applies to a single applicant.
